Through the efforts of JDA, new schools are being built in northern Afghanistan providing thousands of children and their communities with educational facilities. Nine out ten women are illiterate and education for girls has become an important issue. We have been working in over 200 villages and the main question we are asked is, "Will you help us build a school for our children?"
