Support JDA's Infrastructure Projects

Afghanistan has been suffering through internal conflict, war which has destroyed most of their infrastructure. JDA is responding and eager to help in rehabilitating and building schools, roads, irrigation canals, bridges, clinics and homes for the Afghan nation.

The below are suggested donations toward projects that are transforming communities and improving the lives of families. Donations for these projects will be accumulated until the full budget requirements are met.

  School Construction - $96,000

JDA has built 5 schools in northern Afghanistan. The last school was designed and built for two floors but funding was sufficient for only the first level. The Sultan Ibrahim school serves 10 villages and more than 2000 students attend during three shifts per day. It has 13 rooms and JDA would like to add another floor with 13 rooms.

For a gift of $500, you can help a invest in the education of Afghan children.

School Desks and Benches - $40

Simply made, low cost desks and benches makes a new school complete, many children have never had a desk. When we build a brand new school we would like to equip it with furniture. Each desk will be used by 3 students, a school needs 220 desks

For a gift of $40 you can help purchase one desk and a bench which will serve three children.
